In an era where hiring processes often reduce individuals to bullet points and buzzwords, I set out to create something different—a video resume that puts humanity back into personal branding. This project isn’t just a creative twist on the Wes Anderson-inspired video trend that took over social media; it’s a statement against the dehumanization of traditional recruitment.
The trend, which gained momentum around the release of Anderson’s Asteroid City in 2023, saw people reimagining everyday moments through his signature style: symmetrical compositions, pastel color palettes, quirky characters, and whimsical, deadpan narration. Inspired by this cultural phenomenon, I wanted to apply the same cinematic charm to a professional context—transforming the traditional resume into a visually compelling, personality-driven story.
With meticulous framing, playful storytelling, and vibrant aesthetics, this video reflects my passion for visual storytelling and creative problem-solving. But beyond the style, it serves a deeper purpose: to showcase who I am, not just what I’ve done. It’s an opportunity to express my personality, values, and the unique perspective I bring to my work—something a conventional resume simply can’t capture. Through this project, I aimed to blur the lines between professional identity and personal authenticity, crafting a narrative that speaks not only to my skills but to the person behind them.
